As of March 26, the title track was played about 6.01 million times on Spotify, topping the streaming service's Global Top 50. On YouTube, the music video for Like Crazy garnered more than 22 million views only four days after its release on March 24.
The album FACE topped the weekly album ranking of Japan's prestigious Oricon chart with weekly sales of 225,000. Jimin said he tried to express his feelings during the COVID-19 pandemic through the album. He is now the fourth member who rolled out a solo album, after by J-Hope, Jin, and RM.
Although BTS is taking a hiatus after its agency, Jimin has consistently presented his talents. He collaborated with BIGBANG member Taeyang for "VIBE," a song with more than 92 million views on YouTube. Jimin is also serving as the global ambassador of Christian Dior, a France-based high-end luxury fashion brand known as Dior.
Jimin is required to fulfill his compulsory military service in South Korea which is technically at war with North Korea. In South Korea, all able-bodied males who are 18 and older must do their mandatory military service for at least 18 months unless they have a valid reason for exemption. Jin, the eldest member of BTS, started his service in December 2022. J-Hope, the group's main dancer, would be the second member to join the military.
