SEOUL -- Song Mino, a member of boy band Winner, will officially debut as a painter at an exhibition for emerging artists this week. The rapper has frequently uploaded his works onto social media to share his inspiration with fans.

YG Entertainment, the 26-year-old's agency, said on Monday that Song will display three of his art pieces at this year's Special Exhibition for Emerging Artists (SEEA) to be held at Seongnam Arts Center in Seoul's southern satellite city of Seongnam on December 17~25.

"Visitors will be able to peek into the artistic world of Song Mino, an artist who normally used to express his feelings and thoughts through paintings," YG said.

Two pieces of acrylic paint drawings and an oil paint drawing will be displayed along with other art pieces submitted by some 50 promising young artists. SEEA annually selects young promising artists and showcases their works.

Song, who debuted in 2011, is known for his artistic skills. He has previously showcased his drawings during variety shows and smartphone live streaming events.
