SEOUL -- Singer-actress IU has made a grand comeback by scoring an all-kill in major South Korean music charts with Blueming, the title song of the 26-year-old's mini-album.
IU made her first comeback in 13 months with her album, Love Poem, on Monday and topped major song charts such as Melon, Genie and Soribada with Blueming. Other songs such as "above the time" and "unlucky" were placed high in song charts.
The music video for Blueming is also popular on YouTube. It was watched more than 2.2 million times in less than 24 hours. Fans have left some 10,000 comments welcoming the singer who returned to the music scene.
"She is perfect. Oh and she really can pull off any outfit, hairstyles and music genre," said "bana lee", a YouTube user. Another user "Kitty Jones" said: " Blue has always been my favorite color, and this is such an amazing MV!"
