Amid grieving for the victims of Las Vegas shooting, a dispute between Instagram star Dan Bilzerian and highly decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran Dakota Meyer arose in social media.

Bilzerian shared a video when the shooting happened and showed a woman getting shot in her head. He was running away for his safety while recording the video.

Meyer criticized Bilzerian's action publicly the next day. He wrote, "This is why children shouldn't classify heroes by their followers or their photos. @danbilzerian this is what kills me about people like you. Always play "operator dress up" and so so tough when the cameras are on."

Bilzerian's Instagram is plastered with himself in military gear, a collection of guns, and bikini-clad women. He often bragged about his prowess.

Meyer added, "A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming that's not what operators do. Please stop trying to be someone your not. People are dying. you're running away not helping them and pretending it's worthy of a video is disgusting."

Bilzerian fired back at Meyer on his Twitter Wednesday, calling Meyer and another Marine who criticized his cowardice action "morons" and "retard".

After the dispute, Meyer's wife Bristol Palin, a daughter of Sarah Palin former Governor of Alaska, began getting prank calls from Bilzerian's "little friends".

Meyer accused Bilzerian of exposing personal cell phone number of his wife. He posted a video on his social media account with a warning and a challenge to Dan Bilzerian.

In the video, Meyer says, "It's one thing you talk about me all day. I don't care. But here's the problem. My purpose in life is family." Visibly angry, Meyer adds, "You wanna bring my family in this, you wanna put my wife in danger by putting her phone number out to people? You got your little friends trying to FaceTime her? My life's not a game and it's not entertainment either so what I will tell you is, my family's purpose is my purpose and now you're my mission."

"This ain't an option. You just need to tell me when and where and if not we'll be somewhere together, I'm sure", Meyer continues coldly staring at the camera, "Why don't we handle this like men? You got it? You got it, Dan? I'm waiting."

Dan Bilzerian did not respond to Meyer's challenge yet.

Sergeant Dakota Meyer is the first living U.S. Marine to receive the Medal of Honor, the military's highest honor, for his brave actions during the Battle of Gangijal in 2009. Meyer single-handedly saved 36 Marines and soldiers, and recovered the bodies of fellow soldiers. With his heroic action, the tide of the battle turned and Meyer left no man behind.

Dan Bilzerian is a notorious gun fanatic who often brands himself as a military operator and posts pictures of himself in military attire. He was formally in U.S. Navy but was discharged a year and a half later.
