South Korean LPGA star and Olympic gold medalist Park In-bee will get a special cash reward from South Korea's golf association.
The cash reward of 300 million won ($257,069) will be given to Park at an evening ceremony Monday to be attended by South Korean golfers, the association said.
Park has been resting at her home in Seoul because of her injuries since she garnered the Olympic gold medal in Brazil in August. The 28-year-old has battled back and finger injuries all season.
Pak Seri, the godmother of South Korean golf who made an honorable retirement at home in October, will receive a cash reward of 50 million won for coaching the Olympic golf team.
