Kim Go-eun will stay with current agency

Kim Go-eun, a rising actress from the hit drama "Cheese in the Trap" were in the midst of rumors of which, the actress left her agency to become a free agent. But Jang In Entertainment, Kim's agency snuffed the rumor by releasing a statement.

Jang In Entertainment announced through a statement, "The report on Kim Go-eun becoming a free agent is not true. We cannot reveal the specifics of the contract, but there is still some time left in her contract. We are currently deciding on the next project with the actress."

There are many speculations on what Kim's next project will be, many fans expect her to take a role in the movie version of Cheese in the Trap since she received many praises for bringing out the character from the original web cartoon perfectly out into the drama.

Cheese in the Trap's movie version is currently under its preparation, and original casts from the drama version such as Park Hae-jin and Kim Go-eun are rumored to be considered to continue their role in the film.

Kim Go-eun debuted in the acting world by appearing in a film "Eungyo", she was awarded the "Rookie female actress of the year" at multiple awards event. She also appeared in various films such as "Monster", and "Chinatown".

The promising actress made the first step in TV drama series with Cheese in the Trap in January 2016. At the beginning of the airing, she was criticized for not-so-pretty looks and her style of acting, but as the drama proceeded, she was praised for her superb characterization of the original character from Cheese in the Trap web cartoon.
