S. Korean researchers win UNESCO Netexplo Award Grand Prix for Wearable Thermo-Element

A group of South Korean researchers won the Grand Prix 2015 of the UNESCO Netexplo Award for a Wearable Thermo-Element that can be incorporated into clothing to power phones and other mobile devices.

The device was created by researchers at the Korean Advanced Institute for Science and Technology (KAIST) led by Professor Cho Byung-jin, chief technology officer (CTO). 

The award ceremony was held in Paris on Wednesday (local time).
