A Korean library at the University of Oxford in Britain opened to the public on Friday (local time), the National Library of Korea in Seoul said.

The library, the 19th Korean library abroad to open under an initiative to help foreigners better understand Korea, has a collection of about 7,000 books, including 2,600 publications provided by the National Library of Korea.

The National Library of Korea said it will send some 200 books every year between 2014 to 2018 to the library at Oxford.
