BBC News hosted Google hangout which is a web-based dialogue. This hangout was joined by many intellectuals around the world like Arizona, Paris, Mumbai and New York. They presented their suggestion on this plan in which people would live and die on a different planet far away from earth’s atmosphere.

It is well known that a scientist created first page of the World Wide Web 20 years ago. That time, no one expected that it will bring a drastic change in the life of human beings. It would make world so close that anybody can talk to anyone at any time around the globe with just one click.

Moreover, one more plan which is out of the imagination of humankind is that a web-based debate would generate a great idea of calling volunteers which would travel to Mars on a one-way ticket with a plan of setting up a colony there and explore more about this planet.

These volunteers will get only one-way ticket and would have no prospect of returning back. This idea and the detail discussion about the plan were shown live on television.

MARS ONE, a Dutch organization, is looking for volunteers who want to register themselves for a flight to the red planet. The cost incurred in the travel would be covered by TV rights, corporate sponsorship etc. But, information to be noted is that this flight will take them to Mars and leave them there. It won’t be responsible for taking them back.

Out of curiosity, BBC news enquired to the Mars applicants that what makes them to take this decision to live on the red planet by giving up all the luxurious and comfortable amenities on earth.

Then, in reply applicants said that there is something special in the planet which strikes their imagination. They are interested in exploring this blood color planet about which scientists conclude that there are higher prospects of finding life. It plays a crucial role in mythology.

This is the reason that various attempts have been made to land on its red color dusty surface in spite of its large distance from earth and huge cost incurred in travelling.

So, all these reasons inspire the applicants to take step forward to this risk of landing on this distant land with one-way ticket which gives no surity of returning back. Huge interest was shown by the people for this Mars flight, and according to the latest update, more than 30,000 people have signed for it.

The applicants of this trip are too excited about this life time chance to travel to the Mars which can be easily seen on the videos uploaded on MARS ONE website.
