SEOUL -- South Korea's major beauty product maker Amore Pacific has partnered with Yogiyo, the country's second-most popular food delivery service app operator, to quickly deliver beauty products from nearby local drug and beauty stores. The on-demand cosmetics delivery service uses Yogiyo's food delivery system.

Aritaum, the drug store franchise wing of Amore Pacific, said in a statement on September 9 that Yogiyo operated by Delivery Hero Korea has signed a memorandum of understanding with Amore to offer a beauty products delivery service and cooperate in marketing promotions. Customers can choose a nearby Aritaum store and purchase beauty products.

Items will be delivered in less than an hour. "Now, customers are able to order food, groceries, and daily necessities," Delivery Hero Korea's platform business division vice president Park Hae-woong was quoted as saying. "Yogiyo customers can now order beauty itself."

"We hope that our partnership with Yogiyo will become an important link between customers and Aritaum stores amid a prolonged COVID-19 pandemic situation," said Amore Pacific's Aritaum division head Park Tae-ho. Aritaum said that the cosmetics delivery service, which is now available through selected stores in Seoul and neighboring cities, will be gradually expanded to other areas.
