SEOUL -- SK C&C, the information technology wing of SK Group, unveiled a universal package solution based on artificial intelligence that can be used in quality control to eliminate defects in parts and finished products or in water quality management. Self-training is possible to find defect characteristics from large amounts of data.
The solution called "I-FACTs Smart Vision" can learn information quickly by reading up to a minimum unit of one micrometer (μm) on the screen, SK C&C said, adding it can be built not only on the private cloud but also available as a subscription service on the public cloud.
SK C&C said that the solution enables the real-time inspection of faults because optimal analytical images can be explored, classified, and analyzed even in real-time videos. Instead of expensive separate quality equipment, AI carries out inspection faster and more accurately by collecting images generated through cameras or CCTV and analyzing data.
The company said the solution discovered undefined faults through inference and prediction that combined machine learning and deep learning. It can continuously upgrade new algorithms and minimize application errors by temporary simulation before application. The person in charge can construct an analytical model with a few clicks. Simulations can also reduce errors, and additional defects can be identified with machine learning and deep learning.
