SEOUL -- After making a successful debut as a solo singer in July this year, Kang Daniel, a former member of South Korea's defunct project boy band Wanna One, will return to the music scene with a digital single later this month.

KONNECT Entertainment said in a statement on Wednesday that Kang will release a digital single on November 25. The agency also released a crimson-colored teaser image hinting at the singer's comeback.

Kang would hold his solo fan meeting at KINTEX, a conference hall complex northwest of Seoul, on November 23 and 24. "Kang plans to try various ways to communicate with his fans to repay all the love and support he received," KONNECT said.

Kang pursued his career as a solo singer after Wanna One disbanded in January this year following 16 months of successful activity. The singer nested in LM Entertainment earlier this year but left because of a dispute over the operation of his social media account. The singer established his one-man agency, KONNECT Entertainment.

Kang debuted solo in July with his album "color on me" that topped major South Korean song charts, but his activities had been restricted due to a legal battle with LM. The two sides came to a settlement in September and agreed to cancel lawsuits against each other.
