SEOUL -- Rapper Amber Liu, a U.S.-born singer who debuted as an f(x) member, will come back in early November with her new single "Other People", apologizing for confusion caused by her Instagram in which she postponed all scheduled events over the suicide of her former bandmate, Sulli.

Amber, who left SM Entertainment and joined Steel Wool Entertainment, an American label, in early September, wrote on her Instagram after Sulli committed suicide on October 14, "Due to recent events I'll be putting on hold my upcoming activities."

In her new Instagram post uploaded on Tuesday, Amber wrote, "Hi everyone, I just wanted to apologize for the delay and any confusion I may have caused recently through my socials. I will still be going on tour for Tour X early next year and my next single “Other People” on the X album is releasing the first week of November. Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and words of encouragement. I hope to see you all soon!"

Amber's Tour X will cover U.S. and Canadian cities in January and February. Amber debuted in 2009 as a member of f(x), which was a five-member band before Sulli left to pursue her solo career in 2015. The band had been inactive since that year, leaving many fans disappointed.
