SEOUL -- TWICE, a K-pop gird band, broke its own record in album sales in the domestic market with its new album "Feel Special", which was released on September 23.

According to Hanteo Chart, a state-funded music chart company, on Monday, TWICE sold some 154,000 copies of "Feel Special" during the first week of its release. The previous record-holder, set by the nine-member band, was 151,000 copies of "FANCY YOU", a mini-album released in April this year.

"Feel Special" is a glam-pop dance track with mellow lyrics. Its music video trended worldwide as soon as it was released and garnered more than 64 million views on YouTube in less than seven days.

TWICE, which debuted in October 2015, is scheduled to hold a fan meeting at Korea University near central Seoul on October 20 to celebrate its fourth anniversary.
