SEOUL -- Girl band TWICE will return to the music scene with its eighth mini-album in late September, about five months after the nine-member band released "FANCY YOU", the seventh mini-album, in April this year.

"Please look forward to what TWICE will offer this time as the band received love from fans for its different songs and performances on every comeback," JYP Entertainment said on Monday. TWICE will return to the music scene with mini-album "Fee Special" on September 23.

The agency did not say whether Mina, a Japanese member, will participate in the album promotion. The 22-year-old pulled out of TWICE's world tour concert earlier this year after she suffered from extreme anxiety and insecurity.

TWICE debuted in 2015 and gained global popularity with "CHEER UP", a song released in April 2016, and other hit songs such as "TT" in 2016, and "KNOCK KNOCK" in 2017. The band is especially popular in Asian countries.
