SEOUL -- Brother-sister duo Akdong Musician will return to the music scene this month with its third full album, the band's agency confirmed.

YG Entertainment said in a statement on Friday that Akdong Musician will release "Sailing", the band's third album, this month. Earlier this week, a South Korean online media reported that the duo will come back at the end of this month or in early October, citing an unnamed official from the music industry.

The band also released a teaser clip for its album onto YouTube. The 36-seconds-long video shows a beach at night, with Lee Su-hyun, the younger sister, singing in the background.

Akdong Musician, which debuted in 2012, had been on a hiatus of about two years since Lee Chan-hyuk, the older brother, joined a marine unit in September 2017. Su-hyun has appeared in popular busking TV show series "Begin Again" and operated a beauty and health YouTube content channel while her brother was away. Chan-hyuk was discharged from the military in May this year.
