SEOUL --LG Electronics will introduce the follow-up models of its 5G smartphone, V50 ThinQ, at a consumer electronics fair in Germany in early September. The new model will have an upgraded dual screen.
LG said on Tuesday that it sent an invitation to global media outlets to unveil its new strategic smartphone at IFA 2019 on September 6. The new phone will be an upgraded version of V50 ThinQ which features a 6.4-inch display with an additional display that can be used independently.
In its invitation, LG emphasized the upgraded dual-screen experience. "If dual-screen is used through a game character that crosses two screens, it can both use different apps at the same time and separate use of UI (user interface) that can be divided into different screens."
