SEOUL -- World famous K-pop boy band, BTS, released a mobile app channel to connect with fans all over the world. Dubbed, "BTS Weverse", it is an official fan community based on its exclusive app.

"BTS has opened their official fan community, BTS Weverse. BTS Weverse is a way for BTS and ARMY to communicate even more closely with one another, and it is an official fan community where various BTS content will be uploaded," the seven-member band said in a tweet. The band asked for fans' attention and love.

Weverse is a platform for artists who actively engage in communication with fans. The platform provides online community features as well as exclusive contents created by artists. So far, ARMY, BTS' international fan club, has mainly communicated with each other and BTS members through social media such as Twitter and YouTube.

By using BTS Weverse, fans will receive exclusive content featuring BTS and have a first glance at some of the behind-the-scenes videos before it gets posted to the public as incentives. The boy band will also create relationships with fans via text messages through the app, creating a much more personal feel for the everyday fan.

BTS Weverse, running both in iOS and Android systems, is available in 10 different languages, including Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Spanish.
