SEOUL -- Excitement is growing among global fans over the release of an OST by three BTS members for a mobile game to be published by South Korea's leading game publisher Netmarble. The OST featuring Charli XCX, a British artist, was produced by Stargate, a Norwegian record producing and songwriting team based in Los Angeles.
Three BTS members -- Jin, Jimin and Jungkook -- joined hands for "Dream Glow", an OST for BTS World, that would be released on Friday. The song says dreams are the happiest thing while dreaming, and if you are dreaming, you have not given up yet.
BTS WORLD is an interactive mobile game including more than 10,000 images and 100 video contents of the seven-member boy band. Players can train BTS members and share their progress with other players.
Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk, who has catapulted BTS to global fame, is a cousin of Netmarble chairman Bang Joon-hyuk. Netmarble has combed a game with cinematic dramas and K-pop, allowing users to play the role of the manager in charge of nurturing BTS members.
