SEOUL -- Girls' Generation member Taeyeon collaborated with veteran singer Yoon Jong-shin to create a remake of "A Train To Chuncheon", a 1989 all-time-favorite song originally sung by Kim Hyun-chul.

The 30-year-old singer released the collaboration song on Tuesday as part of Yoon's monthly song project. Taeyeon was specially selected by the 49-year-old singer-songwriter because she was born in 1989, the year "A Train To Chuncheon" was released.

Chuncheon is an iconic lakeside city some 75 kilometers northeast of Seoul. The city is well known for its tourism and food. "A Train To Chuncheon" is a song about a man who thinks about his past love while he is on a train headed to the lakeside city. The popular song was remade into various versions by famous singers such as Kim Gun-mo.
