K-pop band BTS to release Japanese single album in July

SEOUL -- K-pop band BTS will release a Japanese single album in July, including the Japanese version of the group's hit songs "Boy With Luv" and "IDOL".

According to Oricon, Japan's prominent music chart company, on Friday, BTS' single album would be released on July 3. The Japanese single album will include BTS' global hit songs as well as "Lights", an unreleased song exclusively produced for Japanese fans. Oricon said BTS would release a music video for "Lights".

The single album will be released in three limited box sets. Two versions will include a behind-the-scenes DVD and a 36-page pictorial book.

"MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA" was certified by the Recording Industry Association of Japan as gold on Thursday for fulfilling its standard of 100,000 units.
