SEOUL -- Key, a SHINee member, released "I Wanna Be", a repackaged album including a title song of the same name, on the day he joined a boot camp for obligatory military service.

The 27-year-old's new album features Soeyon, a member of girl band (G)I-DLE. The song's music video was watched more than 219,000 times on YouTube in less than three hours of its upload. He was ordered to join the army on March 4.

Key will be assigned to a military band along with N, a VIXX member, and Jung Jin-woon, a 2AM member. He would complete his service in October 2020. While pursuing his career as a singer, Key began his acting career as a musical actor in 2012. He later appeared in several TV dramas as a co-star.
