Incheon airport opens 26-meter-high electronic board as new landmark

SEOUL -- A 26-meter-high electronic board with an 8K resolution light emitting diode (LED) display appeared in Incheon International Airport, South Korea's main gateway west of Seoul, to greet passengers with ultra high-definition media contents.

Incheon airport authorities said Monday that the new board was put into service on December 1 as a new landmark at the center of the first terminal, showing digital arts and various contents. "This new media tower will provide passengers with a lot of excitement and excitement," CEO Chung Il-young said, adding it would contribute to spreading South Korea's brand value as an IT powerhouse.

In January, Incheon, known as one of the world's best airports, opened its second passenger terminal furnished with artworks, guiding robots, digital screens and other modern facilities for quick safety clearance.
