SEOUL -- Veering off from a wave of fast-paced songs that swept over the K-pop scene this summer, Rapper Gaeko, a member of South Korea's two-man hip-hop band Dynamic Duo, presented fans with a solo song that is more relaxed and soothing.
The 37-year-old, famous for his old school hip-hop songs with strong beats, dropped his new solo track "Vacation" on Tuesday. It is a slow-paced R&B track featuring SOLE, a female singer, and its music video shows a variety of summer sceneries depicted in a way that they are watched from a window of a moving train.
"This is a song for those who have not taken a summer vacation yet," Gaeko was quoted as saying in an interview with OSEN, a South Korean online media.
