SEOUL -- South Korea's LG Electronics is gearing up for the release of V35, an upgraded version of its flagship smartphone V30, which was released in September 2017, an advertising company official said Thursday.
"LG is preparing to release a new smartphone and it is an upgraded version of V30," the official told Aju News on condition of anonymity, adding the new phone is likely to be released in the third quarter of this year.
V35 will feature a six-inch display and an artificial intelligence system which helps users take better pictures and provide assistance in their daily lives, the official said, refusing to disclose other details. LG divided its flagship lineup into two -- G series and V series. G7 ThinQ, the latest of its G lineup, was released in early May.
