SEOUL, Jan. 29 (Aju News) -- Yoon Jong-shin, a veteran singer known for monthly music projects, released a new song, "Slow Starter", starring a male figure skating prospect who failed to win a post in next month's Winter Olympics.
The 48-year-old singer uploaded the music video onto his YouTube channel Monday, saying that "Slow Starter" is an autobiographical song holding a message that people should not give up so easily to look forward. Yoon requested support for Lee June-hyoung.
"Although Lee cannot participate in the Pyeongchang Olympics, I want fans to support him as he is preparing for the next round," the singer said. Lee, 21, became the first South Korean male skater to stand on the podium and win a gold medal at an international event. He is the 2014 JGP France champion and a three-time national champion.
