Georgie Knox from Airdrie, Canada was driving to her work early morning. A coyote darted in front of her car and she "heard a crunch and believed" she "ran over and killed it."

She kept on driving until a construction worker in Calgary notified her that she had a coyote stuck in her car's grille.

She wrote her encounter with the coyote on her Facebook page, "When I got out to look, this poor little guy was looking up and blinking at me." The coyote traveled about 20 miles stuck in the grille.

Knox contacted Alberta Fish and Wildlife Enforcement to have the coyote freed. A team of biologists managed to remove the coyote from the car safely. Fortunately, the coyote sustained "minimal injuries" and returned to the wild after getting treatments from the biologists.

Knox wrote, "Miraculously, he was freed and had minimal injuries", and added, "Clearly mother nature had other plans for this special little guy."

Her photo and video of the coyote garnered over 27 million views and 400,000 reactions but she removed her posts due to outpouring anger from people.
