The traditional afternoon tea party is no longer the thing, but marijuana tea party is.

A group of women dressed in their formal tea party attire arrived one by one in the backyard of a private residence in Mill Valley, California. The tea party seemed like a British high-society style tea party from the outside with finger sandwiches and tea, but the tea served at the party had a little dose of cannabis in them, SF Gate reported.

The party, "High Tea", was hosted by Kikoko, a newly launched tea brand that carries cannabis-infused organic tea, which allegedly relieves migraines, menstrual pain, insomnia, and more.

The tea party attendants were generally a mix of career women and wealthy housewives.

Kikoko offers four types of teas - Sympa-Tea, Sensuali-Tea, Positivi-Tea, and Tranquili-Tea - that have three to 10 mg of THC each. A can of 10 tea sachets costs between $40 to $56 depends on the dose and the type of teas.

Kikoko has been hosting a number of tea parties in the San Francisco Bay Area in recent months.
