The latest smartphones follow a global trend of adopting a display of more than five inches. Big screens provide better video quality and higher resolution but at the same time have a common drawback -- inconvenient controls when used with a single hand.
LG's upcoming flagship G6 is no exception, equipped with a "FullVision" display -- a 5.7-inch QHD+ (2,880X1,440 resolution) screen which is slightly narrower and longer than competitors. For its new flagship, LG has prepared a special user experience, "UX6.0", to provide differentiated one-hand navigational features along with a new layout for easy control.
A teaser invitation sent out to media outlets suggested LG has improved the reliability of its new smartphone, and the phone is said to be water and heat resistant. G6 will be launched at the 2017 Mobile World Congress on February 26.
