K-pop star G-Dragon's agency threatened to take legal action Wednesday after a private Instagram account was hacked, leaking his photos dating with Japanese actress Nana Komatsu.

The leader of South Korea's popular boy group Big Bang opened a private Instagram account called "Peaceminusone", sharing photos of his private life only with 150 friends.

Hackers switched it a public account five days ago, unveiling a number of photos showing G-Dragon and the Japanese actress. The pictures have been widely circulated online, prompting G-Dragon to delete his account.

YG Entertainment pledged "strong legal action" saying G-Dragon has become the target of "serious privacy infringement".

"We will file complaints with legal authorities" to track and punish hackers as well as anyone spreading malicious rumors, it said, adding leaked photos have been edited and spread, causing more damage to G-Dragon's image and reputation.

G-Dragon and the Japanese actress had been shooting for cover images for Japan's fashion magazine "NYLON" earlier this year. They also have been spotted together on various occasions by fans. Since July, G-Dragon and Nana were rumored to be dating, but the South Korean idol star has refuted such rumors.
