Easy & quick recipe for soy sauce pickled onion and chili peppers

Preparing pickled vegetable can get a little tricky at times, but this recipe is very simple and is ready to serve in less than an hour.

Onions, chili peppers and other vegetables such as cucumbers and cabbages can be used for preparing the soy sauce pickle. It suits very nicely with meat and pasta. Also, it's great for washing off a residual taste in the mouth.

Ingredients
- Red & green chili peppers (one each)
- Onion
- Three tablespoons of vinegar
- Two tablespoons of sugar
- Three tablespoons of soy sauce
- Three tablespoons of water

Cooking directions
- Chop onion into large pieces
- Cut chili peppers into 2cm sized pieces
- Put the chopped ingredients into a bowl
- Add three tablespoons vinegar into a pan
- Add two tablespoons of sugar
- Add three tablespoons of soy sauce
- Add three tablespoons of water
- Bring the sauce mixture to a simmer
- Stir well while simmering
- Simmer for a minute and remove from heat
- Put chopped vegetables into a jar
- Pour sauce mixture into jar
- Close lid and shake well
- Rest for at least 30 minutes before serving

Serving directions
- Serve cold or at room temperature
