Samsung's patent for smart contact lens was unveiled earlier this year, but Google brought something more extraordinary. It's called "Intra-ocular device". The device is placed directly into a person's eye.

The patent application filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is titled Intra-ocular device. Although the patent application does not explain how the device works, but it has an antenna which provides necessary power required to run the device.

The patent was filed on October 24, 2014, by the name of Andrew Jason Conrad, the head of Life Science at Google.

According to USPTO, Google does not mention Android or any of the company's IT related technology and experts of the industry predict that the Intra-ocular device won't be introduced in near future.
