China confirms first imported Zika virus - Xinhua

China has confirmed its first case of imported Zika virus, Xinhua reported Tuesday.
The Zika virus was detected in a 34-year old man from Ganxian county of Jiangxi province, the news agency said, quoting China's National Health and Family Planning Commission.
The man was recovering in hospital with normal body temperatures and fading rash, the agency reported.
He traveled to Venezuela and showed symptoms of fever, headache and dizziness on Jan 28 before returning his hometown on Feb 5 via Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
Th agency added the risk of further spreading of the virus due to this imported case was extremely low.
