The share-ride company Uber has something special to offer- a puppy-on-demand service. Uber is to provide special services exclusively on February 3 from 11 AM until 2 PM.

The UberPUPPY service will deliver a puppy or a school of puppies to home or office for three hours. The service will cost its customers U.S$ 30.

Puppy rental services had been around before but were caught up in controversy over animal rights. To tackle the public’s concern, Uber joined up with various animal communities and organizations. Uber wrote on its blog “We’ve teamed up with Animal Planet, the SF SPCA, Peninsula Humane Society, and Berkeley Humane Society to bring you a pack of puppies on demand.”

Unfortunately, the puppy delivery service will only be available for limited areas. Bay Area, Chicago, Los Angeles, Orange County, New York, Denver, Phoenix, and Washington DC are the places where customers can order puppy-on-demand services.
