After nearly 20 years after production of the Japanese version of NES – Famicom discontinued, it's getting its first commercial cartridge and it’s a music album filled with 8-bit music coming in December.

“8 Bit Music Power”, the Famicom cartridge published by Japan’s “RIKI”, contains 12 tracks of chiptunes. All the listener has to do, is to plug the cartridge into Famicon or any NES compatible type, and it plays music all by itself along with beautiful retro dot graphics on connected display. Famicom controller can be used to switch tracks.

The runtime of the album is roughly 44 minutes long, songs in the album are composed by game music composers of the Famicom age. Yuriko Keino (composer for Xevious series), Masahiro Kajihara (Vallis) are the few composers among the artists who participated in the 8 Bit Music Power.
