Members of the South Korean contingent Hanbit Unit play with children in the town of Bor, about 170 kilometers north of the South Sudanese capital of Juba, July 3 (local time). The 290-member unit, mostly engineers and medics, is stationed in Bor on a United Nations peace-keeping mission. South Sudan is Africa's youngest nation which won its independence from its Arab-dominated northern neighbor Sudan in 2011 after decades of civil war that claimed the lives of about 2 million people.
