Retailer put on alert over MERS virus

An employee disinfects shopping carts to prevent any Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) virus transmission at a hypermarket chain store in Seoul Wednesday. Five more people were confirmed with MERS, bringing the total number of confirmed MERS patients in South Korea to 35 as of Thursday morning. Two people have died from MERS since its first outbreak in South Korea on May 20.
