Amid growing public fears that the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) virus could spread further, a primary school classroom in Gyeonggi Province remains vacant on Tuesday. The school reportedly was closed, after South Korea reported its first two deaths from the disease. As of Tuesday, the total number of confirmed MERS patients in the country increased to 25.
