YG opens 'Play K-pop' theme park in China

A major South Korean entertainment agency said Tuesday that it has opened a digital theme park, named "Play K-pop," in China, the first of its kind in the Asian country. 

The theme park, located in in Quzhou, east China's Zhejiang Province, houses digital attractions and offers hologram concerts of K-pop stars managed by the agency, YG Entertainment, such as Psy, BigBang and 2NE1, YG said. The launch took place Monday.    

Music videos on view include Psy's global mega-hit "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman," BigBang's "Fantastic Baby" and "Bad Boy," and 2NE1's "I'm the Best" and "Fire," it said.  

YG said it opened the theme park with support from South Korea's Ministry of Science, ITC and Future Planning.
