According to the online poll of 7,217 high schoolers conducted by the Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) between April 16 and 20, 59.1 percent or 4,266 said they are subscribers to Facebook.
Those students polled use Facebook for different reasons. About 42.1 percent of respondents said they use Facebook for stress relief, while 27 percent and 24.1 percent said they use it to share with friends, and collect and share information, respectively, the survey said.
Some 74.1 percent of the pollees said they use Facebook one hour or less per day, it said.
