Kim Hyo-joo wins LPGA Tour's JTBC Founders Cup

KIm Hyo-joo of South Korea won her first LPGA Tour victory of the season at the JTBC Founders Cup in Phoenix, Arizona, Sunday (local time). It was her second LPGA Tour win. A 19-year-old rookie, Kim finished the four rounds at 21-under 267, three strokes ahead of world's No. 3-ranked Stacy Lewis of the United States. Kim took home $225,000 (approximately 250 million won) in the winner’s purse. 

Kim's compatriots, Lee Il-hee and Lee Mi-hyang, and Pornanong Phatlum of Thailand tied for third place with 16-under 272, while five players tied for sixth with 15-under 273. They are Choi Na-yeon and Kim Sei-young, both of South Korea; South Korea-born New Zealander Lydia Ko, the world's top-ranked female golfer; Anna Nordqvist of Sweden; and Austin Ernst of the United States.
