Asia-Pacific Financial Forum to open March 25

The 8th Asia-Pacific Financial Forum (APFF) will open at Seoul Plaza Hotel's Grand Ballroom in central Seoul on March 25 under the theme of "Growth Strategy of Financial Industry in 3C (Creativity·Convergence·Challenge) Era," the organizer said.

Participants in the three-day forum will also discuss China's financial industry which has been changing fast, as well as prospects of the fintech industry, one of the hottest topics in Korea's financial circles, according to the organizer, the Global Economy and Finance Research Institute.

In addition, they will discuss strategies to help facilitate growth in the new era.

The annual forum is jointly hosted by The Aju News Corporation and Hongkong Wenweipo Media Group; and sponsored by the Ministry of Strategy and Finance; the Ministry of Foreign Affair; the Financial Supervisory Service; the Bank of Korea; the Korea Federation of Banks; the Korea Exchange; the Korea Financial Investment Association; the Korea Institute of Finance; the Korea Capital Market Institute; and Korea-China Federation of Young Businessmen.
