Late US actor Robin Williams Google's most searched keyword in 2014

The late American actor and comedian Robin Williams topped Google's top search rankings of 2014 released on Tuesday (local time).

Williams was found dead at his home in Northern California on Aug. 11. He was 63. He is well known among South Korean movie lovers for films such as “Dead Poet Society” (1989), “Mrs. Doubtfire” (1993) and “Jumanji“ (1995).

The No. 2 most-searched keyword on Google was the FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

In the 2014 World Cup final on July 13, Germany beat Argentina 1-0. It was the European country's fourth World Cup title and first since the German unification in 1990.

Other most searched keywords on Google included flight MH 370 which vanished on March 8 with 239 people on board while flying from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
