Christopher Nolan's latest film "Interstellar" opened strongly in South Korean cinemas on Thursday, topping the local box office. The sci-fi adventure, given the highest reservation rate last weekend, attracted 227,078 moviegoers during its opening day, according to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) in Seoul that tracks box-office sales.
