Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' tops rankings of ticket pre-sales

Christopher Nolan's latest film "Interstellar" topped the rankings of ticket pre-sales, according to the Korean Film Council (KOFIC) in Seoul that tracks box-office sales, Friday.

Ticket pre-sales of the highly anticipated sci-fi adventure accounted for 39 percent of the total pre-sales, followed by David Fincher's "Gone Girl" with 17.7 percent and South Korean film "My Dictator" with 9.8 percent. "My Dictator," directed by Lee Hae-jun, stars Sol Kyung-gu and Park Hae-il.

"Interstellar" opens in South Korean cinemas on Nov. 6.
