TLC announced it has officially canceled ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ show after finding out Mama June started dating a child molester. The new season was already fully filmed and ready to be released but TLC still decided halted all activities related to the show.

TLC got a hold of a photo that showed Mama June cozying up with a sex offender named Michael McDaniel in a hotel room. The photo was taken in June that is when Mama June broke up with her boyfriend Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson.

Mama June’s new man served 10 years in prison for forcing an 8-year-old girl to perform oral sex and according to TMZ’s new report, June’s own daughter Ana ‘Chickadee’ (20) was molested by McDaniel also. The tabloid reported Ana took this Mama June’s decision to pick up the relationship with a guy who molested her own daughter as betrayal.

Mama June denied all claims on her new relationship and wrote on her daughter’s official Facebook page on Thursday that she dated him but dumped him 10 years ago. She then posted a video statement on the Facebook page and said in the video, “The statement of me dating a sex offender is totally untrue,” and added, “I would not ever ever put my kids in danger.”

However, TLC will not budge on their decision to cancel the show. In the statement, it said, “TLC has canceled the series ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ and ended all activities around the series, effective immediately. Supporting the health and welfare of these remarkable children is our only priority. TLC is faithfully committed to the children’s ongoing comfort and well-being.”
