South Korea falls 3 notches to 66th in FIFA rankings

No AFC (Asian Football Confederation) member was ranked among the top 50 in the latest FIFA rankings released Thursday. 

Iran placed 51st, while Japan and Uzbekistan came in 52nd and 65th, respectively.
 
South Korea moved down three notches to 66th. South Korea defeated Paraguay 2-0 in their football friendly on Oct. 10 and lost to Costa Rica 1-3, Oct. 14.  

Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup champion Germany retained its top spot, though it drew 1-1 with Ireland and lost to Poland 2-0 last month.

Argentina and Colombia remained at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. 

Also included in the top 10 were Belgium, the Netherlands, Brazil, France, Uruguay, Portugal and Spain.

Northern Ireland and Togo jumped 28 and 73 notches to 43rd and 52nd, respectively.
