An, 49, underwent operations for colorectal cancer in mid-August after being diagnosed with it during a medical checkup, a source said, adding that he has been convalescing favorably.

The singer was originally scheduled to release his new album, titled "An Chi-hwan Anthology - Complete Myself," in April, which contains 97 tracks, including those from his first album released in 1989, sources said.
The showcase will be held at the cultural hall of Shinsegae Department Store in Myeong-dong, downtown Seoul, they said.
