"My Lovely Girl," a South Korean drama starring top K-pop singer and actor Rain, has gained popularity in China, attracting more than 100 million views on the country's two major video streaming and downloading services, Youku and Tudou, the drama's PR agency in Seoul said Tuesday.
The SBS TV fantasy romance surpassed the milestone on Oct. 5, just 19 days after its release in China, according to the agency, News Link 21.
"If this trend continues, the series will easily reach the 200 million view mark around Nov. 6 when the 16th and last episode of the drama airs," the company said.
Krystal of K-pop quintet f(x) plays the female lead in the drama.
