Apple Inc. unveiled two new iPhones - iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus - during an Apple event at the Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino, Calif., Tuesday (local time). The Flint Center was the site where the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs launched the first Apple Macintosh computer in 1984.

The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus are 6.9 mm and 7.1 mm thin, respectively.

The devices will be available in countries, including Japan, Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong as well as the United States, starting Sept. 19, but the launch schedule for the South Korean market has yet to be set.

Apple also released the wearable Apple Watch, which be available for purchase in the first half of 2015.
